September 2008:

- More than 200 people attended the September 12 opening reception for our exhibition "CONTAMINATION! Globalisation, Transformation, Mutation", a remarkable success and confirmation of the fact that design-art is hot and that design-e-space has become a "must" destination.


February - March 2008:

- This past February the Decorative Arts Museum boutique in Paris had an entire window display of works by Kiki van Eijk and Joost van Bleiswijk. Several of these pieces are now on sale in the museum boutique.


December 2007:

- The high-end Parisian boutique Colette is presenting a series of specially-made objects by Ted Noten – jewellery, bags, artefacts. The exhibition opened on December 3 and will continue till January 5, 2008.


October 2007:

- The London-based design and architecture magazine "Icon" has published in its October issue an extensive feature article by Anna Bates dedicated to the work of Ted Noten (portraits by Richard Nicholson).


- Shan-Shan’s piece "Abacus" was displayed in the garden of the Blue Moon Club at Lido di Venezia, in the framework of the 10th annual Open International Sculpture Exhibition, which included works by artists such as Christo, Lee Ufan, Sandro Chia, Enzo Cucchi.


September 2007:

- The luxury department store Selfridges of London is presenting a "bag sculpture" by Ted Noten in its Wonder Room, a new concept akin to a cabinet de curiosités. The Wonder Room will be dedicated to exceptional objects that share a high degree of originality, rarity and top quality of design and execution.


July 2007:

- The Texas Tech University is enriching its already large collection of public art with new works commissioned from several artists: Deborah Butterfield, Farley Tobin and Shan-Shan Sheng.

- Having published a comprehensive interview with Kiki van Eijk earlier this month, Three Layer Cake has just released an equally thorough and interesting interview with Joost van Bleiswijk.  Readers can now discover and compare the views of the 2 designers.

June 2007:

- Design Miami/Basel pre-selected 7 designers for its Designer of the Future Award, among them Tom Dixon, Marten Baas, the Sweedish group Front and Kiki van Eijk. On this occasion, Kiki presented some of her creations and talked about her work to collectors and professionals.
